Axel Vervoordt is one of the most important interior designers of our time. But Vervoordt also stands out for being an art dealer, antiques collector and gallery owner. Born in Antwerp in the mid-1980s, he had already become a household name in his native Belgium. But it would not be until the mid-1990s when his fusion designs between old and modern would cross borders to gain a foothold among the most sought-after designers on the planet.
According to Axel Vervoordt, decoration goes beyond decoration. " My taste is dominated by a sense of proportion. I want to achieve a sense of harmony between architecture, furniture, works of art and antiques."
